Set Up Your Company

Once your business workspace is created, set up your company so the platform matches your real-world operations. This includes importing your existing data, configuring financial settings, and adjusting key defaults. All settings are available from the Business Settings menu.

Import Your Data

Easily import your contacts, products, and other records using built-in import tools. Supported file formats include Excel and CSV. Use the sample file provided to match the required columns.

  • Contacts (customers, vendors, leads)
  • Products and inventory
  • Past invoices and bills
  • Other master data

Configure Financial Settings

Select or import your chart of accounts to match your accounting structure. You can use doryo’s standard template or upload your own. Accounts can be added or edited as needed.

Set up your company’s tax rates, such as VAT or sales tax. Assign default taxes for sales and purchases so invoices and expenses calculate automatically.

Choose your company’s default currency. doryo supports multi-currency, but your main currency determines reporting and calculations.

Define your fiscal year start and end dates to match your legal or preferred accounting period. This is used for all financial reporting.

Other Settings

  • Company address and contact information
  • Logo and branding
  • Document numbering schemes (invoices, bills, etc)
  • Default payment terms
  • User permissions and role assignments

You can revisit business settings at any time. It’s best to confirm these before you start entering live transactions.
